Dan Cumberland Installed as Board Member of the Greater Capital Area Association of REALTORS® (GCAAR)

Moyer & Sons Moving & Storage is proud to announce that our Marketing Director, Dan Cumberland Jr., has been installed as a Board Member of the Greater Capital Area Association of REALTORS® (GCAAR). GCAAR is one of the largest local REALTOR® associations in the United States, representing more than 12,000 REALTOR® members from Washington, D.C. and Montgomery County, Maryland, along with industry partners who support the real estate community.

A Trusted Partner to the REALTOR® Community

Dan’s board installation is a natural next step in a relationship with the REALTOR® community that spans many years. He has been a familiar face at GCAAR events, education sessions, and community service projects, helping to strengthen the connection between REALTORS® and trusted Affiliates. Over the years, Dan has been recognized for his dedication and impact, including:

• GCAAR 2020 Affiliate of the Year, honoring his ongoing support of GCAAR’s events, community initiatives, and member programs.
• Frederick County Association of REALTORS® (FCAR) 2021–2022 Affiliate of the Year, and FCAR Board Member 2024–2025, celebrating his leadership and community service in Frederick County.

His new role on the GCAAR Board further amplifies that commitment, helping guide an association whose mission is to be the local voice for real estate, promoting and protecting private property rights and supporting professional, ethical service to buyers and sellers across the region.
