How far in advance should I book my move

We recommend booking 4–8 weeks in advance, especially during peak moving season (May through September). Moves in the Washington, DC and Baltimore metro areas book quickly — particularly weekends and end-of-month dates — so scheduling early gives you the best choice of dates.
